Together with Kiruna 2029, North Creative Nodes invites you to a lunch webinar about the opportunity to apply with a project to Kiruna 2029’s official artistic programme. You will learn more about the Open Call for medium-sized and larger artistic projects.
Artistic Project
For those who have a more developed project proposal and would like to apply to become part of Kiruna 2029’s official artistic programme. Kiruna 2029 is primarily looking for medium-sized and larger projects that are creative, challenging and imaginative, and that connect the local with the European and international in different ways. Deadline: 30 September 2026.

During the webinar, you will learn more about:
- what Kiruna 2029 is looking for at this stage
- which of the two routes may be most suitable for your idea
- the criteria for the artistic programme
- how the application process works
- what opportunities for funding and support are available
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions directly to Kiruna 2029 about the Open Call for medium-sized and larger artistic projects.
Who is it for?
The webinar is aimed at artists and cultural practitioners, producers, associations, cultural organisations, cultural institutions and other actors who are interested in the opportunity to become part of Kiruna 2029’s artistic programme.
For those who have an early-stage project idea they would like to explore and develop further, there is also the Open Call Test an Idea. Your idea does not need to be fully formed – this is an opportunity to describe what you would like to do, how it connects to Kiruna 2029, and what support may be needed to take the idea forward. Deadline: 31 December 2026.
The webinar will be held on two occasions, one in Swedish and one in English, with the same content.
